Meet Kristie

Hello, my name is Kristie Naranjo and I've been using all types of needles and thread in some way ever since I was eight years old. I love working with my hands which led me to sewing clothes for myself, embroidery, cross stitch, and crochet.

 

When I was in my thirties, I started knitting professionally for knitwear designers which led to teaching knitting to elementary kids in an after school program.

 

In my forties, I resumed my love of sewing and started quilting after a fateful trip to visit my sister-in-law. Standing in her quilt studio sparked something inside of me and I've never looked back. Now I'm lucky enough to be a quilt instructor and Certified Teacher for each Scrappy Appliqué™ as well as Color Confidence for Quilters™. I love teaching at quilting guilds, quilt shops, and to individuals looking to learn new and unique techniques.
